014: A Passion For Creativity And Helping Others To Build A Business

In this episode, we chat with Brock Shinen. Brock is a licensed attorney with a passion for helping others out.

Here is what Brock has on the homepage of his website:

As an entrepreneur, business owner, executive, or creator, it’s critical for you to identify the obstacles to your success – and then learn how to overcome those obstacles. There is no one size fits all approach. I work with you to architect and implement custom-tailored strategies to get you to the next level.

Here is a little more information about who Brock is and where to find him!

For years, people and organizations would come to me with legal problems (I’m a licensed attorney). But solving a legal problem wasn’t my only response. In each circumstance, I would see things no one else would see – communication issues, management failures, inefficiencies, weak structuring. Regardless of the title of my role, I wound up helping these same individuals and organizations address the underlying, non-legal issues. This ultimately led towards increased efficiency, profits, and productivity among my clients. My role as a strategic advisor had developed even though I had never even defined it.

One day, a client said to me, “Brock, you’re an amazing strategist. You should doing something about that.” In my mind, I was already doing it. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized my client was right. I wasn’t devoting enough energy to clarifying my role as a strategic advisor. I no longer wanted to only help individuals and organizations with legal problems. I wanted to help any entrepreneur, business owner, executive, creator, and business – large or small – become more efficient, productive, and profitable, whether they had a legal problem or not.

In a single pivot, I took action and started doing it. I’m now writing for some of the largest and most influential publications in the world, like Huffington Post and Addicted 2 Success, and I wrote and published an Amazon #1 bestselling book, “Crush the Stops: An Entrepreneur’s Guide to Finishing Things.” I offer strategic advisor services to individuals and organizations even if they have no legal issues, and I write and speak extensively on these and other topics.

With a spirit of humility, I believe I have a rare gift to offer the world. My experience, passion, skill set, and focus led me here. I thrive in seeing others succeed, and I’m uniquely positioned to help you get where you want to be. Let me be your guide to success.
